Milolii, Hawaii - High Surf Warnings

Pounding surf along the southwest shores of the Big Island of Hawaii.

DEEPEST SOUTH USA - SOUTH POINT, HAWAII

50-60 feet above the ocean, this hoist and attached ladder used to aid fishermen with their catches. However, this structure is now used mostly for jumping off and climbing back up via the ladder not visible from here.

TULIPS from WA and OR











April 2010- Tulip Festivals in Woodburn, OR and La Conner, WA The local websites advise on the progress of the blooming season and as it gets closer, the week the flowers are expected to bloom. Tulips are planted in stages. As early blooms age, new blooms are opening. The fields and gardens are a feast for the eyes. Wow!!
